چکیده
This paper describes how to use Deform-3D software create a turning process model that can be used simulate the on AISI 1025 carbon steel and Al6061 billets in industrial automotive applications. The Software is build 3D Finite Element model. Pre-processing, Simulation, Post-processing are all modules simulate. Tool workpiece information, as well appropriate necessary parameters, were taken into account software’s Pre Processing module. Simulation was performed at two different rotational speeds for materials using with without titanium nitride coated tungsten carbide tool. After 1000 steps of simulation, results such damage, effective strain, stress, total velocity, displacement, Temperature reported from Post From results, comparative analysis will carried out performance characteristics speeds. During process, accurately predict metal removal Deform finite element simulation.

Finite Element Simulation of a Friction Drilling process using Deform-3D
Friction drilling Process is a rotating conical tool to penetrate the work piece and create a bushing in a single step without generating chips. This work investigates the finite element modeling (FEM) of large plastic strain and high-temperature work-material deformation in friction drilling. The workmaterial deformation is very large, and both the tool and work piece temperatures are high in ...

This paperpresentsexperimental investigationsandfinite element simulationsonmicro-millingofTi–6Al– 4V alloy with fine grain uncoated and cBN coated micro-end mills. Micro-milling of Ti–6Al–4V using uncoated and cBN coated tungsten carbide micro-end mills are conducted; surface roughness, burr formation and tool wear are measured. Effects of machining parameters on surface roughness, burr format...
متن کاملAn evaluation of heat partition in the high-speed turning of AISI/SAE 4140 steel with uncoated and TiN-coated tools
In manufacturing by machining, thermal loads on cutting tools can have a major influence on tool wear and hence process cost, especially at higher cutting speeds. An investigation has been undertaken to determine heat partition into the cutting tool for high-speed machining of AISI/SAE 4140 high-strength alloy steel with uncoated and TiN-coated tools. The cutting tests have been performed at cu...
